Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Netics collects through its websites, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights. It applies to netics.fr, neticslabs.com, netics.ma and their blogs, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

1. Data controller

Netics (company being registered), represented by Taha Echakiri, Paris, France. Contact for any data protection question: [email protected].

2. What we collect and why

Contact form: name, email address, company, service of interest, message and the site language. Used only to answer your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Blog newsletter: your email address and the dates you subscribed and confirmed. Used only to send you new articles. Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking the confirmation link (art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. Call booking: name, email address, chosen time slot and your answers to the booking questions. Used to organise and hold the call. Legal basis: steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b)). Emails you send us: the content of your messages and your contact details. Used to reply and follow up. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (art. 6(1)(f)). AI chat assistant: the messages you type. Used only to generate an answer. Please do not enter sensitive or confidential information. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering an assistant (art. 6(1)(f)). Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs. Used to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security (art. 6(1)(f)).

3. The AI assistant

The chat on our website is an automated AI system. Its answers are generated automatically from our documentation and can be incomplete or wrong; they do not commit Netics. Messages are processed through our automation server and an external AI model provider to produce the answer. For anything important, write to us directly.

4. Cookies and audience measurement

Our websites do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. Your display preference (light or dark theme) is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us. The chat conversation is also kept in your browser for 24 hours, so it follows you from page to page; the "New conversation" button deletes it. Your answer to the cookie notice is remembered in your browser for one year. The booking widget, provided by Cal.com, may set technical cookies needed for it to work. If we add audience measurement in the future, it will be cookie-free and anonymous, and this policy will be updated.

5. Who receives your data

Your data is only accessible to Netics and to the service providers we rely on, each limited to its function: - Resend (Resend, Inc.): delivery of contact form emails, sent from its European region. - Google (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd): email, calendar and video calls (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet). - Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc.): call booking. - Mailgun (Mailgun Technologies, Inc.): delivery of the blog newsletter emails. - Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): delivery and security of the websites and routing of our email addresses. - OpenRouter (OpenRouter, Inc.) and the AI model provider it routes to: generation of the chat assistant's answers. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers are based in the United States or may process data there. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

Contact requests, booking details and emails from prospects: 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address. Client data: for the duration of our collaboration, then archived for the periods required by law (for example 10 years for invoices and accounting records). AI chat messages: technical logs kept for 30 days at most. Technical logs: a few weeks at most, for security purposes.

8. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. In France you can also give instructions on what happens to your data after your death. Write to [email protected]; we reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). Visitors in Morocco can also contact the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).

9. Security

Connections to our websites are encrypted (HTTPS), access to data is restricted to what each service needs, and our infrastructure is monitored and kept up to date.

10. Changes

This policy may change, for example when we add a service. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version.
